Abel Cross – B.Sc (2002), B.Mus (2007)
Described by Cyclic Defrost Magazine as a "genre hopping bassist", Abel is in demand for both his double bass and bass guitar playing, having contributed to original groups as eclectic as 3ofmillions, Trio Apoplectic, the Splinter Orchestra, Pure Evil Trio and performing as a sideman for the likes of Bernie McGann, Carl Riseley, and Holly Throsby. He also enjoys bonfires, wrist spin bowling, and the writing of Albert Camus.
Kusum’s sound practice works with the voice, performance and technology, most often using this combination in a noise music context where the abstract vocal technique is pushed and pulled to the centre of the listening field. Most recently she has been using this style of performance in a social and site specific practice in an Honours program in sound at RMIT. For the SMS project she will be collaborating using the voice in combination with effects and synthesis.
Adrian currently resides somewhere deep in suburban Sydney. Armed with a shabby looking Rhodes hes has been part of many musical projects including 3ofMillions, Triosk and many more spontaneous projects.
Claire Herbert is an electronic artist who work specifically with film sound material using texture and rhythm to create expressionist sound spaces. She has worked extensively using the interactive software "MAX/MSP" to create unique ways of controlling sound material in a performance environment.
Also known as "Uncle Badass" Ankur is a Control Engineering student, when not programming for interactive music projects, he enjoys games of Arkanoid and Loderunner.
Australian based Japanese artist who creates "noise" related performances, objects and exhibitions with a wide range of skills and methods.

Formed in 1992 as an "art laboratory" and studio specialising in sound design, the manufacture of musical instruments and sound effects pedals . Also producing metal sculptural objects, it supports artists and provides information, workshops and methods. It also functions as a record label. Website: www.lalweb.com
Fred Rodrigues is a Sydney based creative technician. SIMS is a project he devised in 2008. He works as a multimedia engineer with artists such as spat+loogie, Lucas Abela and Brown Council among others. He enjoys solving problems for projects using computers, soldering irons and anything else that may be lying around.
